This book is quite huge and heavy, but the contents are well worth the effort. A plethora of timeless design ideas.

  2. Michelle Green

This book contains a wealth of information about the history of logos as well as a plethora of logo form references! Was a fantastic buy for the price.

  3. Maurice Hobson

We are happy that we found this book since our high school kid is really interested in a profession as an artist and graphic designer. A notable resource that provides an overview of the area is this compendium or catalog. There are more than 80 interviews and articles within that cover the philosophy and practice—not to mention the heart and soul—of graphic design as a profession.

There’s a plenty of sub-fields covered as well as exhortation on which schools, projects, and roads to seek after. As it were, it closely resembles you’re getting three books in one: a book with critique and counsel from experts, an exhaustive compressed lesson in visual depiction, and a lifelong arranging handbook. Ultimately, the real book is all around planned and engaging. It doesn’t look or feel like a customary course book, and it’s entirely clear. There was a great deal to appreciate, in any event, for a non-craftsman like me.
